A Time of Refreshing - Luke 4:13, Matt 4:11, Acts 3:19

March 21, 2017

It is unarguably of the tests and trials God's people face throughout their walk. Doctor offices are filled, the mental wards are overflowing, and what can we say about the rate of divorce!

Jesus, being led into the wilderness, was there hungry and experiencing a series of tests. Reflecting on the word of the father, he pass whatever the tempter threw his way. The final test ends and the word states, "And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season."

Matthews gospel records, "Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him" (Matt 4:11). In other words, Jesus experienced a refreshing along with a season free of the devil's tests!
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord!" (Acts 3:19)

"Regardless of how stale you've become, God is more than able to refresh your spirit!"
-Pastor Ronald Wilson
