Who We Are
Taking ownership of Heaven’s vision here on earth.
Matthew 6:10 “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
Exalt the Lord. Spread Kingdom Culture. Build the community.
Acts 17:6 “…these that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;”
Kingdom Vision Life Center was founded and established in Wilmington N.C. by Ronald and Rachel Wilson under the name of Higher Hope in early 1998. After being ordained and then sent to Rockingham by the late Bishop John W. Barber, Higher Hope was changed to New Life Ministries. Shortly after relocating the Wilson family, God called Bishop Barber home. After several years of ministry in the Rockingham/Hamlet area, the Wilson’s journeyed to Fresno, California for a year where they focused more on mission work.
God lead the Wilson family back to Greensboro, North Carolina where they have lived for the past eleven years. Kingdom Vision Life Center (KVLC) was established and is currently flourishing to this present time in the Greater Greensboro area. KVLC places a great emphasis on pursing ownership of Heaven’s vision on Earth (Matthew 6:10).
Since transitioning to Greensboro, the Lord has added as he promised to the church and vision is constantly being pursued. Countless lives have been changed, souls have been saved, bodies have been healed, and the minds of God’s people have been forever changed.
As earlier stated, Kingdom Vision places a strong emphasis on Kingdom Living! Our deepest desire is to see the culture of Heaven spread throughout the earth and the world at large!
What We Believe (abridged version)
There is one God, almighty and eternal, triune in His existence, one in His essence: The Father, The Son (The Word), and the Holy Ghost (Spirit). He is not three Gods, but one.
God is the creator and sustainer of all things. He has revealed himself in nature, in the written word (the Bible) and in His living word (The Lord Jesus Christ).
The Bible is the Word of God, plenary verbally inspired and is the first and final basis and test for doctrine, experience and conduct.
Man (male and female) was created in the image and after the likeness of God to fellowship with Him and to reflect His love and power through fruitfulness and dominion over the earth.
Jesus, the Living Word of God, was born of a virgin, into the earth, though He preexisted with the Father as God in eternity past. He is the only begotten Son of God who lived a perfect, sinless human life, died a substitutionary death, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven to the right hand of God the Father, as Lord and Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the redeemer whose blood is the price for mankind to be restored to fellowship with God.
The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is God in unlimited accessible form. It is He who empowered Jesus Christ to fulfill His earthly mission. He is God perfecting the church into the image of Christ and performing acts of power to bring glory to Jesus.
All men must believe on and confess the Lord Jesus Christ, must repent of their sins and be baptized in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (God’s name for salvation), for the remission of sins and for identification with Christ and His redemptive work.
